LOGIC ABOVE IGNORANCE

Kill The Babies!   Kill Them All!   I Made A Mistake!
Thursday November 27, 2021

Young little Adolph Hitler was a sweet child, helping other poor children in his village.  That being said, does that change how you would feel about him growing up to slaughter 6,000,000 innocent Jews?  No.  Probably not.  So let me pose a serious question.  There is another famous figure, who reportedly slaughtered 20,000,000 innocent babies, children, elderly and such.  This figure's rampage makes Adolph look tame.  Who was this horrific killer?  The Bible tells us that it's God himself.

The very "Master", the "Father", that demands you "worship" him or suffer a horrific, painful death for eternity.  Isn't it awesome that this Christian God is a fictional character?  Whew.  Yes.  Thank goodness this is just a story.

I am always amazed that adults will not usually believe in Unicorns, Tooth Fairies, Santa Claus, Little Green Men, Magic, Wizards, Dragons, and Trolls... but they will believe in a mythical "God" that created everything from scratch, magically turns water into wine, cures diseases (of a few select people), allows slavery, created talking snakes and donkeys, and massacred around 20,000,000 people, many of who had never even heard of such a God.  Of course, shortly after he created all of this, he realized he made a huge mistake and changed his mind.

During the time of the imaginary flood of Noah (I'll get to that in a moment), there were approximately 20,000,000 inhabitants of Earth, according to our best estimates.  Of of these 20,000,000 people, only a tiny handful of them ever heard the elaborate stories of a God and a dude named Jesus.  Yet, according to the story, God destroyed EVERY LIVING THING, because they were corrupted and evil.  You would think that a "loving God" would have chosen one of a billion other ways to heal Earth and his "children".  But no.  The most powerful, omnipotent, entity to ever exist, with the power to do ANYTHING, including create life, chose to drown his children.  Read up on drowning.  It's a very terrifying and painful way to die.  God doesn't give a shit though.  He want's his children dead.

You simply cannot deny that this "God" wanted his creations, his children, dead.  When a parent decides to kill a child, they go to jail.  We condemn them.  Why?  We create kids from our own bodies so we should have the right to kill them if they don't turn out right.  Right?  I mean, that's the excuse Christians use for God's actions.  "Well he is THE creator.  He can do anything he wants"...including slaughtering his children."

God gets a pass.  If you are a Christian, stop and think, rationally for a moment.  Is this really good?  Do you agree with killing people you don't like?  Do you believe in killing as a solution for imperfection?  If you believe in the Bible.  Yes.  You do.  You have to.  You have no other choice because your "loving God" chooses destruction and death over love.

The simple fact of the matter is that we have no evidence this event ever occurred.  Flooding leaves telltale signs behind that are very distinct.  A flood of the magnitude that we read about in the Bible would have left obvious evidence all over the Earth.  There would be no question that Earth suffered a gigantic, global flood.  Other than the water damage that would have been left behind, we would have the bones and carcasses scattered around the globe from over 20,000,000 people and millions of other animals.

None of this evidence exists.  This is how we know that the great flood is a lie.  A story.  Nothing more.  Mankind was not extinguished.  The dinosaurs were wiped out in a matter of hours and days.  We have worldwide evidence of that disaster.  We can see it.  This layer is called the K-T Boundary.  The evidence of the dinosaurs demise is there.

No evidence exists of a global flood or global death of mankind.  It didn't happen.

So, why did I become an Atheist?  I know my family and probably some of my friends are completely gobsmacked that I would have the NERVE to denounce God.  How could I?  I have people promising to pray for me everywhere.  People want me back in the fishbowl of Christianity and blind faith.

Look, I know it's very hard to throw religion and God in the trash pile with Santa Claus and the Tooth Fairy.  I get it.  Kind of.

Most Americans and others in parts of the world, are raised with the idea that God is absolutely real and we are all taught by roughly the same methods, no matter the denomination.  We have a preacher, teacher, or priest, that stands before us and gives us sermons, stories of hell and heaven.  Hell, fire and brimstone!   Glory to God.  But, nobody every questions the outlandish and outrageous claims of the Bible.  How DARE YOU!

But let's get real.  99% of all Christians never actually picked up the Bible and read it, actually studied it and questioned the contents of it.  Any other book that was supposed to be so important, would be picked apart and all aspects of it questioned.  The author(s) would be urgently important.  What are their qualifications?  What is their experience?  Are they trust worthy?  Why is the author, who is writing such extreme information reliable?

Enter the Bible.  We have absolutely no idea who wrote the Bible.  We know it's old.  We know there are multiple authors but we don't have a clue who actually wrote it.  We know that the knowledge about Earth, life, and a lot of things the people of the period experienced, was greatly limited.  I mean, they had no means of travel and the region of the Earth that the stories of the Bible were written about are a tiny fraction of Earth.  A tiny group of the worlds population at the time.  Yet, according to the Bible, that tiny region was the entire world.  These people thought the Earth was flat, like a table, and there was an edge over the ocean that just fell away into nothing.  They based their entire knowledge of the world on this.  When they claim something was worldwide, they meant it was effecting an area not a lot larger than, let's say, Texas.  That was the "world".

These ancient people had no way to explore vast areas.  They had no clue what stars actually were.  They didn't understand earthquakes, tornados, micro-bursts, meteors, eclipses.... NOTHING.  All of these things were magical to them.  We know now that they are not magical at all.  They are part of nature.  We have learned so much.

Something as simple as the Sun and Moon.  In Biblical days, the Moon was referred to as the "lesser light" that shines in the night, and the Sun ruled the Days.  This was in reference to Day and Night.  However, we know, and you can easily see, that the Moon actually has nothing to do with the night.  The moon doesn't show up only at night.  It's orbit makes it visible a lot of time in mid-day.  The Sun is in the same position, roughly, every day.  Every 24 hours.  But the moon is not a 24 hour orbit.  It's these simple realities that begin to unravel the trustworthyness of the authors.  There are hundreds upon hundreds of these types of mistaken facts about the world and life within the Bible that destroy any hope of credibility of the authors.

Did you know that the Bible says it took Noah roughly 100 years to build the ark?  That's a pretty impressive accomplishment from a 600 year old man.  Yeah.  Noah lived to be 950 or so years old.  So did his father.  But Noah was still having sex and kids well into his later years ...in his hundreds.  Today, with amazing medical breakthroughs, we are striving to have people live to be possibly 110 some day.  We should have asked Noah how he almost made it to 1000!

And let's look at that flood.  God gave Noah a 100 or so year advance notice that he was going to kill every living thing on Earth in 100 years.  That's pretty good.  According to the Bible, Noah built the largest wooden ship known to man.  He did this with zero wood working skills.  No leaks.  The best ship builders on Earth have not been able to accomplish this.  The largest wooden ship ever built was much smaller than the Ark would have had to be and it eventually sunk.  You see, wood flexes and seams open up.  The larger the ship, the more impossible wood becomes as a material to build a seaworthy vessel with.  The seas make wooden ships twist and flex, tearing them apart.  In short, the ark was an impossibility.  Another Biblical story of lies.

As far as the actual flood goes, that's another story altogether.  It rained for 40 days and 40 nights and the waters filled the entire Earth, viciously drowning innocent new born babies, mothers, fathers, elderly, the sick and disabled.  It's believed that there were approximately 20,000,000 or more people on Earth in that time.  Most of them were not even living in the "world of Noah" and had never heard of this religion thing.  They would have had no clue was a God was or what this supposed God wanted from them.  So all of them, probably a vast majority of the 20,000,000 inhabitants of Earth were innocent and clueless.  Let's not forget all of the innocent animals.  Surely they didn't piss God off too, did they?

But according to the Bible, God was displeased with his children and killed them.  Yep.  The most powerful and loving entity ever... God himself...chose murder as his choice to punish his children.  Now mind you, he could have easily chosen to guide them with love.  I mean, he's God, right?  He can do anything.  Right?  Or is he really not "all powerful"?  He can't be both.  He either possesses the ability to love his children into being good... OR not.  So he kills them.
